Hi,
My name is Trenton Matthews (nickname "The T Man", and this may sounds strange, but I've been here at the Zone since it first opened. I think the web site was different before then. Since I didn't really know what it was, I never started coming here until March of this year I think.
Anyway, , I'm 19 years-old, I go to the Colorado School For The Deaf And Blind, and graduated this year. As some of the people know, I'm a christian that believes in the Bible, but doesn't go to church that. I'm starting to go to churchurch more regular now, and I just hope it helps.
My favorite subjects are reading (Fantisy) music, and anything that has to do with computers and screen-readers! Window-Eyes in this case.
I was born in Denver, rased in Denver, and only left for school down in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and when I went out of town. As most of you guys know, I don't like swear words, but since they are in the dictionary, I can't rule them out of the vocabulary. Bessides, my mother says them all the time, even around me. You know, was I suppose to admit that? ..... Alwell.

I am totally blind, born blind due to optic nerve damage. I was also born with a bone disease, osteogenesis imperfecta. its soft bones, and I had to have rods put in my legs when i was a child, because almost every time I fell down, i broke a leg. I was in leg braces for about nine years, from the time i was nine, until i was 17. I'm 45 years old, so school was a long time ago for me, smiles. because of my bone disease and not being able to walk very well, i couldn't go to the school for the blind, so I had schooling in various ways, mostly taught by a homebound teacher. I was in a small one room public school room for with 6 other boys, and I was the only girl, yuck. I'm not really active over here, games and quizes were never my thing. I have public notes turned off, so if you sent me a message publically, i wouldn't hear it, but i do still have private quicknotes on, but sometimes when i'm in a quicknote conversation with someone, the note gets chopped off, like what happened with my friend cat lover and I. Well, fantasy, I like stories about experiments going horribly wrong, people aging prematurely, or being immortal and living thousands of years, and stories about people being frozen and being brought back a hundred or so years later. or faster than light travel, as long as they don't go over my head with the scientific stuff, where someone goes into space at faster than light, and when they return to earth, all the people they knew that were young when the person left, have grown old, while the person who went at faster than light travel hasn't aged at all.
Well, I'm not much active on the boards over here, so just look for new posts in the getting to know you board, and reply to new posters. Its nice to meet you.

wow, the topics I've replied to, and forgot I replied to them. I'm replying to messages I've already replied to, because I haven't been here in a long time, and I like newbie boards more than any other boards, but unfortunately, I can't be new forever, wish I could, but that defies logic.
You and I have that one thing in common, I hate swear words too. That's one reason I think I like the getting to know you board better, because I don't hear those in here. There are a lot of people I don't approach because of it, I don't know, somehow I feel like, if I even dare to speak to them, I'll get a response like, what the ahem do you want? buzz off.
well, just thought I'd reply again, since I haven't been here in a while, and I love putting old topics at the top. lol.

I am also into that Sciency stuff. it fascinates me. speaking of which, does anyone know where I could get me some info on "teleporting"? I am interested in the concept and how they are proposing to do it? objects at least :)
I'm sorry that you feel you can't participate in the other boards WW, but no-one here would dare to speak to you like that as you're not likely to get on anyone's wrong side. Everyone is allowed to have their opinions so do come and mingle! .. Swearing is evil I know but I guess it's a case of whether you feel you can ignore/read over it. .. Try not let it ruin your zone experience.

I like replying to your posts in the rant board, because you know how to rant with courtesy, and I can relate to most of them.
I'm getting better at posting I think. I didn't post much when I first came here, but I just figure I'm doing what everyone else is doing, minus the swearing and name calling of course. It's nice to meet you, take care and have a nice day.
